- Is it safe? The extension only talks to your takeascreen.com account, accepts a fixed list of actions (no remote code), works only in its own window and tab group, never sees your other tabs, and shows REC on the toolbar while recording. You can pause or disconnect it in one click.
- Does it work in Edge, Brave or Opera? Yes, any Chromium-based desktop browser that installs Chrome extensions. Firefox and Safari are not supported; use the web recorder there.
